The location of this hotel just next door to the garden at the rear of the property and the Caledonian canal enters Loch Ness and restaurants was magnificent and perfect. The rooms were decent size, there was a comfortable bed.

We had a comfortable bedroom. We appreciated tea/coffee and a TV. The hotel had a very central setting by the loch.

Everything was absolutely fine, we all felt very welcome here. The staff was EASYGOING & amicable. Appreciated the en suite and reasonably large room with breakfast. The hotel was placed in the very central location to fort augustus.

The beautiful king room offered a lavish experience with a massive four-poster bed and a rejuvenating jacuzzi bath, perfect after a day of exploring. While the room was a highlight, communication regarding breakfast was less than ideal-hot options were unavailable, but they did provide an alternative that worked well. The absence of staff upon arrival felt odd, though getting in was straightforward. Small parking facilities were a bonus.

Decent option for a flying visit in Fort Augustus with good value. The jacuzzi bath was nice. Make sure you ask about any breakfast changes before your arrival.

I had a fantastic stay in a Twin Room with Shower while exploring the local attractions. The spacious and beautifully decorated bathroom was definitely a highlight, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a long day. The vibe in the place was really cozy and welcoming, making it feel like a home away from home.

Couples seeking comfort

First off, the service was great, Alasdair was super friendly and helpful with all our requests. The bathroom? A massive jacuzzi tub was exactly what I needed after a long day of driving and hiking.

Yeah it wasn't exactly a bargain but considering the amenities it seems justified.

A Touch of Luxury

We stayed 3 nights in a beautiful double room and it was fab! The breakfast was really good, especially the cooked options. Everyone was super friendly and helpful! Just wish the Wi-Fi was a bit stronger, but it didn't ruin our vibe.

I recently stayed at Appin House for one night and found the location fantastic along with a great shower. The room was clean, though it had some minor cleanliness issues. The hosts are clearly working on improvements, and I appreciated the alternative breakfast provided. A decent stay.

Only thing was the pillows were way too soft for our liking and there weren't staff on site which was a bit odd. Breakfast options were limited, could be better.
